Sandi Dolbee

I was inspired by Sandi Dolbee, the speaker this week for our Women’s and Minorities class. A courageous woman she is, in a time when women were not welcomed into journalism there she was at the scene with paper and pencil in hand ready to do a story. I was impressed that Sandi has been involved in journalism since 1973 and currently she is the Religion and Ethics editor for San Diego Tribune. After hearing a fraction of the knowledge that Sandi carries with her in her tool bag I have much respect for the work that she does, in regards to journalism and the research she does to stay on top of her job.
I know, right? I felt smarter just being around her! I went to the welcome party for her and she spoke in another of my classes. She’s awesome!
